1st grow, 1st journal

this is my first indoor grow
i have been reading for months about growing and i have made a closet
my closet is 3'x2'x6' after i see how good i can grow i plan on making 2 sections in closet. one for veg and one for flower.
i constructed my light fixture out of 2 plastic boxes. the large box i cut at the corners and heatedit so i could bend the sides out. then i put corner peices in to fill the gaps at the corner. the small box is glued on top. it has 3 holes drilled in it to fit the light sockets in. i wired all 3 to one plug.
i then put 2 18 inch grow flouro tubes in down a couple inches from the 3 cfls(i keep the tubes about 2 inches from top of plant. i then used aluminum tape on the inside to make it reflective. and used some hardware for hanging it
i have 5 plants growing but only four pots fit in the closet so two plants are in one pot. we'll see what happens with them?


so im about 2 weeks into my grow and every thing lookes healthy

today i worked on getting the closet warmed up with some more foam and plastic on the backof the closet, im alittle concerned with the temp because its cold around here right now! but my thermo says 75-80 when i open it up but once its open it drops to pretty quick. i openit a few times daily because i have no fan. i aslo spray co2 every two days. i hope the soil stays warm enough.

well its been about three weeks and they are doing well i water about every 5 daysi toped two plants and all the plants started to grow extra branches
