  • Bagseed that i had laying around forever
  • DIY 3 citizen 1212 3500k 37v @1.4A for 150w draw at the wall20171120_155435.png 20171120_020406.jpg (80cri?or 90cri..i dunno) in a 2x3 closet.
  • Day12 of flower.
  • Promix hp
  • local hydro store flowering nutes.
  • Watered every 2-3days with 1.8 EC ratio

Should i add more light?

Im a total noob when it comes to growing, messed up a few times on this plant, but she turned out to be quite resilient. Any advice is appreciated.

That light should be enough. I'd think about lolipopping the plant to focus on main colas. I like to do some defoliation on bigger fans on the plant interior to give better light penetration.

In a few days when it's done the big stretch at the beginning of flower I'd remove all growth from at least 12" above the soil and down. I can see a few spots on your leaves where they are getting a bit of PM type white specks from being so dense with a lack of airflow. You could probably handle another 100w in that space but you seem to have enough to make it work with really good canopy management.

I semi lolipopped about 3 weeks ago20171029_002714.jpg and have defoliated about 10 times now. Holy crap these things grow back in fast. Do you defoliate all the way to harvest? Im kinda scared about stressing it since i messed up so many times with her.

This is undercanopy 3 days ago20171115_025922.jpg , hasnt grown much under there since i tore it all out. Should i still defoliate more? A bit of light still reaches the soil under here.

As mentioned below, i have done a ghetto noob lolipop (scared i was going to tear too much off). I will consider doing more as she gets thicker. And keep LSTing the colas apart.

I think what you see may be specks of perlite on my leaves or camera angle. Shes got 2 fans blowing at her constantly 20171115_024943.jpg

No WPM from what i can see.

Ahh yeah thats water. I water in the middle with an old lady watering jug from the top and hope i dont spill it. Haha.

Will be doing some sort of drip system next grow.

I defoliate the tops of my plants, not the bottom. Buds grow when they get direct light. I'm an intermediate grower at best, so take it with a grain of salt. Plant looks healthy.

I've had plants in the past that developed a jungle of interior growth to the point it just ended up being wasted growth.
What I do now is to remove 'sucker' branches from the interior that are struggling to develop. This seems to get the plant to focus the resources it has on the colas.

Cheers. I kind of just lollipopped the way you said. Makes sense to do top down, but i pretty much lollipopped the middle.
