not really necessary seeing as your space isnt closed off and its a smaller unit but it could help them a bit during these initial weeks. keep an eye out just to be safe, if youve got drops of water accumulating up in the tube area of that t-5 it could very well cause them to blow out on you.

yeah its probably too small to make much of a difference.

nice, yeah I was surprised it made a small difference in rh even with it being unsealed and everything. no water drops that I could see, and while I know it's almost completely pointless it IS helping keep the humidity in the 35-40 range rather than 30. amazing lol.

theyre probably just different phenos, no worries :) variation in seeds is fun! its like playing the lotto

thanks :D yeah they oughta love it, conditions are beaaaauuutiful. stays between 75-82 degrees, humidity at 40, air is nicely circulated, etc. spoiling them for sure except for their first feeding of filtered tap water today as im out of distilled water. poor guys - if they explode and die at least I'll know why xD

Mine is a durolux model. I also have a six bulb model and it will come close to the eight bulb.

I also run mixed spectrum. I run a mix of agromax bulbs including the 10,000kelvin finishing bulb with added UVA.

Keep the plants happy and the yield will follow.

Two things grow bigger autos. Bigger pots and running veg nutes the whole time. I use 15 inch pots that hold almost five gallons.

6 bulbs and have only 6500k in them right now, could do any configuration of that and 2900k bulbs as well tho - what and when would you suggest swapping?

If running the standard 6500 and 3000k bulbs a 50/50 mix from start to finish is good. All 6500 from start to finish works.

I use a mix of agromax. 2-pure par, 2-bloom, 2-veg, 1-10,000k+uva. I don't remember what the eighth bulb is. I will have to look as I did a change a while back.

For your first run the all blue will work.

got half 2900k/half 6500k bulbs in there now and set to 19/5

thanks for the advice, and the big excitement is i can set up my second grow area now that the inspection is finished :D

tomorrow should be fun - unboxing new light, setting up tent, mixing soil, planting seeds, etc.

funny how busy i'll be, but when coworkers ask what i did for the weekend it'll just be 'oh not much, just watched some football' xD
