Ok, so after about 8 or 9 months of reading mostly everything on this forum and other growing forums i think i am ready to start my first grow op. The strain i am going with is big bud for its moderate ease of growing and it's potentially high yields.
What i'm basically trying to do is have a 6 plant harvest every 4 weeks and i need opinions and tips on my growroom set up.. I want to grow this in either fox farms or black gold soil. I have 3 somewhat larger growing areas in my room. One is a 2'x6' closet and two 4'x4'x7' grow tents and a 2'x2'x3.5' cabinet for a mother. and a rubber maid plastic box for rooting the clones.
What i wanna do is start a mother and take 6 clones from that mother and after they have rooted transplant them to one of the 4'x4'x7' grow tent for 4 weeks of veg under a 250-400w MH (which would you recommend 2500 or 400?). after 4 weeks i would transplant them into the second 4'x4'x7' grow tent for 4 weeks of flowering under a 400w HPS in the second grow tent. and after those for weeks i would move them into the 2'x6' closet under a 600w HPS for another 4 weeks so they can finish off flowering and basically keep that cycle going and harvest every 4 weeks.
Is there anything you more experienced growers would change? Any opinions on how i could better utilize the space i have? or is this as good as it can get? I also have some questions, what size pots should i use throughout the grow process? and how many grams/ounces could i expect? Anyway, thaks for all the great info you guys have already provided...
