1st grow

Hi guys. This is my 1st grow and wanted to know what you think.

I grow in a cupboard measuring 2ftx2ftx1.5ft which is able to be enlarged by moving shelves down etc. It is white painted and has some mylar in places. I grow under a 24 watt 225led, 3 x 5watt spiral led bulbs and a 300 Watt led grow light. My lumens total adds up to approx 20,000. Is this enough light?
I grow in canna terra and I water via spray bottle (3 squirts every 2 hours) and I flood the pots once every 3 days. I use filtered water.
My temp in the cupboard was getting to 35 degrees c.. to hot I know so I now regularly put frozen water bottles in the room which brings it down to 29 c average as well as increasing humidity a little.

I Germed via paper towel method. Took just 1.5 days and planted straight away. The seedlings are now 1 week old today and are under the lights pretty much 20/4. I haven't massively given them nutrients, just about 5ml of formula x per litre of water.

How am I doing? Opinions and tips are welcomed. Thankyou.

You need proper ventilation and a bigger grow space
I can make the grow space bigger by gradually lowering the shelf the plants are on. I could maybe make a hole in the shelf and install a fan in the bottom blowing air up into them.

Your UFO will only be good for 1 plant, I bought one for £30 to experiment with, they only put out 90w not the stated 300w. I had to scrog due to lack of light penetration but got just short of 2oz dry from a 2ft x 1ft net.

It's move about pulling the old air out. How are you planning on controlling the smell? Do you live in a weed friendly place? If not you need ventilation to mainly control smell and pull old air out replacing it with fresh air via passive or active i.e. An intake fan. In a cabinet it should be fine doing it passively.

These are my favorite grows, tons to learn with the challenge of a confined space.

LED illumination suffers from lack of radiant heat from the emitter. On average, mid 80's temps seem to give these LED nuts the best results.

Lumens are unimportant, however, mols of light photons are. Anywhere from 100-200 mols of photons per square foot are the norm for flowering. A mol is 6x10^23 particles, this is how we quantify light output thanks to Avogadro.

In soil, it is recommended not to feed the plants until you see a deficiency starting. The medium usually has enough nutrients for the first 4-8 weeks of use.

Mind the humidity when you foliar feed or spray. No more than 65% Relative Humidity for vegetation and no less than 45% for flowering.

It is interesting to note some strains react well with low nightly temps, 65-70 degrees F.

You can Scrog 1 plant in there. That's kind of the point of Scrog, to fill a space with as little plants as poss and keep all the plant canopy flat and close to the light. Unless your confusing ScrOG with SOG?

Why not do both?

My suggestion would be to build a mother/clone chamber and flower one at a time using LST and HST. Although, the screen would be easier to begin with.

The reason I say one plant at a time is to increase the size of the rootball as much as possible. The larger the rootball, the more nutrients the plant can absorb, which in turn translates to larger plants and buds.

I used an 18 gal container to prove this under a 150w light, easily twice the size of the 5 gal under the same light.

Defoliation is also key, removing fan leaves to allow light to reach shoots and buding sites increases yield as well.

Keep reading the forums, search for answers before you post a question, chances are it has already been answered somewhere here.
