1st week in tent... no significant growth

I've moved my seedlings over to a bubble hydroponics system. The first couple of days were spent trying to maintain pH. I think I've got the process nailed down now.
I set the pH at 5.4 every night and it climbs to 6.4 until the next check.
Now it's been about a week and I'm still not seeing any significant changes as far as growth and no roots in the water.
I've got heaters in the water keeping the temp around 66° - 67°F.
600W HID 10K placed at about 20" above.

Am I expecting too much or should I have have noticed some growth?
Any insight is appreciated.

I'm a little embarrassed because I wasn't checking pH. It went to about 7.5 before I got a meter and checked and the leaves got a bit crispy; this is the worst one.
I've only got 3 plants growing. I've raised the light to the top of the tent, maybe 4 1/2 feet away. It's a bit cool where I'm growing about 50°F. I thought if I heat the water it would be OK, dunno.
I think I was expecting them to grow like weeds.

Looks like light bleach to me, it's crispy, but not brown as much as white, keep those lights back and she should bet better

Thanks guys
Since they didn't make much progress for the past 10 days, should I extend the first week feeding schedule another week?

I moved the light up and went with a more dilute nute mixture. Already my plants look much improved with new growth.
Thanks all.
