What up!? bongsmilie just making it around to my 2nd run of the year. I am currently running hydroponics/bucket style, using coco coir as my medium. I went with a 3" net pot. I am using General Hydroponics 3 part nutrients, also adding in an extra little bit of calmag. Plus age old kelp, silica, and last but not least gravity & snow storm ultra. I installed a water pump at rhe bottom of bucket nmbr 1. The water splashes up and hit/feeds roots from the bottom. Bucket nmbr 2 I decided to rig my water pump to carry water/food to each of the two net pots, where they are feed from the top. I started out using a 1,000 way mh/hps system. Couldn' handle the temps, even with an air conditioner!! So tht along with other factors is as to why I switched to LED. It's a morson 2,000 watt system. I am still in amazement as to the difference in the girls vs the mh/hps.!! Pics to come. Plus strains.

iirc that LED draws `365w of power, if you're coming from 1000w HPS I would definitely take into account the overall cut in power

Good luck man, for photos I just click the "upload a file button'
Is that a bad thing? You talking about the drop? I figured it would be sufficient enough for a 4x4 closet???

On the photos, yeah I've tried tht also. Just sits there & doesn' upload any pics. I was thinking maybe I needed to use an upload program of sorts?

Should I add another system in there??

You probably need to resize your photos before upload, they are too big. Or reduce the source quality in settings if possible. Modern digital cameras take photos that create huge files, and RIU handles file uploads in a primitive and dumb way. It is a combination of your technology and rollitups refusal (or ineptitude) to make meaningful improvements.

Interested how this will turn out. I grow with hps and i will switch to led aswell in the future. Best of luck and im in. :joint:
Thnx.. may add a small 600 watt to the mix. So thtll be 2,600 watts in total, which I'm sure that' not actual wattage of course. I appreciate you for checking it out thgh. Stick around. (: added 5xs new strains to the list lastnight, so thtll be around 15 or so dif strains I will be running.

Leds and hps is a great mix. I think leds definitely have the upper hand in veg but hps is the greatest for yeild! Awesome, the more plants the better :bigjoint:
Ill definitely srick around. bongsmilie

I hear ya, I hear ya.. but 4 real bro, I thought just like you a few years back and would only grow with a mh/hps system all the time! Until I got my 1st 1,200 led watt system. I did a comparison of sorts vs my 1,000 watt mh/hps subsystem up against the 1,200 watt led. Just to have 200 extra watts, I could tell a very notable amount in weight. I didn' do anything different vs the two, ran the same exact strain in both. It was a legitimate test. Although I know 2,000 watts isn' actual watts.! I' totally daydreaming it was though.!! Lol I may go ahead and add in a smaller led system instead of running the mh/hps. Good God, could you imagine the smell! Not to mention the heat!! Lol

Here's a Peanut Butter Breath tht is a tad behind bucket #2. as is the 2nd strain in bucket #1 which is a Sophies Breath. They have a heavy Indica look to me by looking at the leaves thus far. Never ran these two strains before, so if anyone has any info on them, I'd love to hear it. PBB

They look good man. Are you growing from seed or cutting?
From seed. This is my 1st time growing dro. I have a drip system setup on one, and the other one I have a water pump misting the roots inside the 5 gln bucket. I'e never seen roots grow like this... it' truly mind blowing bro!! I love it.!! On plant #1 the roots has to be a good 3 and half to 4 ft long, and growing. (:
