looking for some advice on using a 2.4msq temt for flower room,

Planning to set the tent into 3 rows of lights 600s.

Question is how many lights per row would be be ok 2 or 3? Total of 6 or 9?

I will be using 10inch 1000m3/h fans as intake and extractor both can be put on speed controllers.

In the same room this tent site will be another 1.2x2.4 tent used for veging so this heat will also have to be taken into concideration.

I have a portable AC unit that will cool the temperatures and exhaust hot air out of the room into another space, should i put this unit inside the big tent or keep it in the room cooling the ambient temperature between the two tents?

By the weekend i hope to have them both setup and maybe give them a dry run.

I also have one of thos cooler heaters that you fill with water if need be not sure how well this will be as ive never used it but its there.

I can also pull fresh air from adjacent rooms if need be.
The reason for 3 rows is i Would like to harvest one row every 30/40 days and bring the veg plants into the flower room so all being well constant harvests by taking closes from the veging plants before they are moved over.

i know it will be like an oven but i also believe with this setup it can work with the right tweaks.

Thanks in advance i will most likely be able to put some pictures up soon when i start to install everything this week.

Curious about your numbers. Are you saying that your flowering tent is 2.4 square meters? So, for me, that's 5ft x 5ft... if that's the case, you're not going to need more than 2 lights max... Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.

If you are using 600w hps lights, Two lights max in your flower tent, ac in the room, not the tent. Exhaust air from the tent using your fans, but allow fresh air already cooled by your ac to passively enter the tent, i.e. from an open vent, you don't need an intake fan at all. Suggest running full cycles in a full tent for flower, then harvest and replace with plants from veg. This would give harvest every 60 days or so. If you want harvest every 30 days, get another 5x5 and you will be set.

I thought i was not comprehending something, wanting to put 6-9 lights in a 5x5 tent

His tent is 2.4x2.4m its in the thread title

4x 600w is enough but if you want to blast it go for 4x1000w if heat is manageable. 9x600 mmm don't like it, 9x 315cmh would be nice.

The number of lights has nothing to do with how many harvests you can run in X amount of days.
You light the tent up and you pick how much area each harvest takes up. 4 harvests, 9, 100, whatever you like.

4 600's is enough, 6 600's is max I would use in an area that small, If you're growing short plants from the floor ie not on a flood table you could get away with 4 1000 single ended in large hoods.
