Hello all. Recently I germed 2 Barneys Farm Blue Cheese Fem. seeds from Attitude. I will use them again.The shipping was awesome, the package arrived and I was off. I had grown bagseed before and while the plants grew well I was dissapointed in the frequency of males. Like many I decided to order some femenized seeds. I ordered 2 Barneys Farm Blue Cheese, 1 Church Fem., and 1 Strawberry Cough Fem. I grow for personal use and I enjoy it as a hobby.
My problem, I germed my 2 Blue Cheese seeds via paper towel method. I then grew the seedlings on a heat mat under one t5 tube for about two weeks, until I saw roots in my grow plugs. I transplanted them after I thought they were stable enough to two Waterfarms. I have them hooked up to a 13 Gallon resevior. I ran 0-200 PPM nutes the first month and have increased gradually. I now have two plants which are growing quite well. It has become clear to me though that these are two different plants. One plant smells dank as hell the other reminds me of the bagseed I have grown.Even a novice grower like me can look at them and tell. I haven't contacted Attitude because I am afraid they will just say "The contents were for novelty use and not for germination". I was wondering if anyone has run into this before, if so, what did they do? Both my plants are in day 39 of Veg. I am planning on 2 months of veg bc I want to take a couple cuttings. Is it possible for plants to be the same strain and look different through veg.? Both plants are receiving the same nutes, light and humidity...
Also, both plants leaves are curling under like claws. The plants arent brittle, browning, etc. They are growing well and look healthy. My resevior has distilled water at 10 ppm which has added GH nutes bringing it to 1200 ppm. The leave were curling under before this so I dont beleieve its any sort of excess. I have it running at abt 65 percent humidity, with a 250 W MH lamp about 10" away. I moved the lamp up bc I originally thought it was heat stress. My res. heater broke also so the res temp has dropped from abt 68 to 58 degrees and I have a fan blowing lightly on my plants. I have read lots and tried to fix accordingly, by flushing but leaves are curling at tips, like claws and the tips are noticably darker. I modified my W Farms with airstones in both, I have an airstone in my res. also. I have no clue why these are curling. My ph is steady at 6.5. The plants look healthy except for this.
