Happened to me too. i had about three sets of these. We called them twins and we asked in the grow shop about them, he advised us to split them as one would more than likely die anyway. At least if you seperate them all the growth goes into the main stem. You could always clone the other one.

If you are going to seperate them.. you need to do it NOW.. before the roots grow to big.. It will be a bit risky taking them apart.. When seedlings are disturbed, they often go into shock and die.. : (

Or you could just leave it, more than likely the weaker one will die in a couple of weeks, but the energy used for keeping the runt (as there is always one) alive will not benefit the one that's going to survive. It's better to split now as the energy used for the plant to repair the, hopefully, minimal damage is a lot less than keeping the runt alive.

I wouldn't take it out. I'd just split them while they are in the soil. Just take it easy, and make sure to give the plant a nice treat. They like it when you sing to them.

i would leave them....

And flower them at a young age.. 4-6 nodes.. in a 3 gallon pot..

unless you plant on taking clones.. then let them get 6-10 nodes and some secondary growth...

and NOW you KNOWM
