Hi
Is it possible to vent 2 tents each with 125mm fans and filters into 4" duct for 1.5 m
Then upto 6" duct where second tent tees into for 0.5 m then to outside.
Will the fans work against each other?
Any info appreciated

Air will always take the path of least resistance.

The piping should not have any bottlenecks.
Change any bottleneck duct sections to the proper larger size.

I can't picture your setup, but I vent 2 4.5ft sq tents with one 6" fan, all 6" duct work. Like Johnie said, balancing the airflow will be an issue. My 2 tents are set up as almost mirror images of each other in order to keep all duplicate duct runs the same length so they both vent as equally as possible. My lights are on thier own cooling circuit and fan, but done the same way with equal length duplicate duct runs to make sure the lights run at similar temps.

You can buy back-flow flaps to prevent one fan from blowing air down into the line leading to the other tent. I plan to use a 6" Y fitting to vent two grow spaces thru one 8" inline carbon filter and will have back-flow flaps on each side so whichever exhaust fan is running it's exhaust will go outside and not into the other room. The flaps are only $15 each or so and I'm pretty sure I can make them if I have to.

As long as both fans are on at the same time, and the path from the Y to outside is less restrictive than the paths back to the tents, you'll be fine. If you plan on running the fans at different times, you might want to get back draft flaps.

In my case the fans will be running at different times and each side of the Y will have it's own fan feeding into the carbon filter that will cause a restriction which would force air back down the hose going to the other room without back draft flaps. If both rooms are flowering at the same time I plan to have the room with lights on warming the room that has it's lights off. Hope to save a lot of power by not needing to have heaters running so much when the lights are out. I'll use a couple of cheap 6" duct fans to move air from one room to the other that will come on when the lights come on in each room.

I have it all planned out in my head and need to get it down on paper before that data gets overwritten with porn or some other crap. :)
