2 Week Indicator

Quick question - I know it usually depends on strain, etc., however I have an unknown strain that is approximately 6 weeks into flowering - is there any indication on the plant itselt that may be a clue to only two weeks remaining in flowering? Also, when adding molasses, do I add one tsp per gallon for the final two weeks? Thank you!

This is an excellent question. Is it when most or all of the trichs are starting to look cloudy or if you wait til they are all cloudy to start your two week countdown is that too late in that there will be more than 50% amber within two weeks? And I suppose that would vary between sativa and indica. Sativas probably take longer to go from cloudy trichs to amber... but how much longer on average? I would be a little surprised if some of the experienced growers haven't clocked it.

By the way, does molasses change the ph of your mix? I'd love to be able to wait til I'm out at my grow site to mix the molasses. But it probably does change the ph somewhat.

cool pic cloudflyer. One thing I'd say about that is that if it's just a matter of trich coloration then wouldn't indica/sativa be about the same depending in when you harvest? And I don't think that's really the case, is it?

If your talking about the plant being ripe yes. But if you are talking about how the plant goes about making THC then no.
