Helloooooo... I decided today, after much deliberation, that I will start AND finish a grow journal on here. I've come to this site, time and time again for answers and now it's my turn to provide information (photos of my progress).

Here's what I'm working with;

The Ladies-

•5 purple dream clones
•5 Cinderella 99 clones
•3 super shark seedlings

The Medium-

•nutrient amended soil from the local nursery

The Containers-

•10 45gal smart pots
•2 5gal smart pots
•1 5gal plastic pot (suspicious it's a male)

The Space-
•15x15x8ft pit with shade cloth cover (hits over 110 where I'm at

I vegged my clones under a t-5 bank for a little under two months; 10clones and three seedlings. Before I put these ladies outdoors permanently, I would take them in and out to harden them off. I then left them outside in the shade for a few days before I transplanted them into their 45gal homes.
The only nutrient I've used so far has been Great White microchaze(?). I really noticed how well the plants responded to their transplant after learning how beneficial it is.
Here are some early to recent shots, I'll try and locate the dates I took the photos.

You might run into some early flower issues if you don't ease them down to the regular light cycle before you toss them out for good. Going from near 24 hours to 14 is a shock to them.
I was pretty conscious about that so about a week before I took them outside, I paid close attention to the civil twilight in my area and adjusted their light schedule accordingly. Then, before they got the full heat of the sun, I kept them in the shade for the better part of the day- then ended up leaving them alone outside for about 4days just to make sure their transition would be easy and comfortable

You should be golden then.

What % sun blocking is your shade cloth?
I'm not 100% sure, actually. There weren't many options where I went and didn't have time to wait for shipping. I believe they block like 85% of the uv rays. I've been paying close attention to the plants; completely covered vs. partially covered and the only significant difference is that the few that get partial/direct sunlight like to grow towards the light whereas the others grow straight up.
Another benefit with the shade clothes is their color; it matches the surrounding dead grass :)

This is great stuff! I'm absorbing as much outdoor knowledge as I can. Tried once and had tiny plants, basically left them way out in the bush and hoped for the best never went back until harvest, that was longass time ago. Now I'm in it to win it. Gorgeous plants and setup man! I wanna see what happens. :leaf:
