Yes, I noticed Promix HP has extra ingredients that I am researching. Needless to say before I buy anything I will be reading labels and asking questions. Thanks for the first hand heads up.
Hey guys, noticed the comments on Pro-Mix. I use it 1/2 & 1/2 with triple-mix soil.

There's nothing wrong with the base product which they just add Mycor's to, it's basically peat moss, you can use it as-is or mix as I do. This is the stuff:
https://www.lowes.ca/peat-moss/pro-mix-bx-mycorrhizae-general-purpose-growing-medium_g2462854.html?searchTerm=PRO-MIX

However, what I did notice last year and made a mistake by not paying attention and grabbed their newer "All Purpose" mix. That shit is full of crap, they add some slow release garbage and it's all sticks & shit in it as well. Many/most retailers seem to have dropped the good stuff and replaced it with this crap. Stay away, I ran a few plants before realizing what it was and burned the shit out of them, all kinds of defs too, terrible stuff.

Lowes and a local hydro shop are a couple of the only one's I've seen consistently carrying the cleaner Pro-Mix BX...

Is this the same product? It's available at my local CanTire.

Yes, that's the good stuff, I think they may have recently changed the packaging but it's clean and I've used that one you posted until the most recent version which looks like they just changed the packaging/colours. That all-purpose mix was nasty, even smelled like crap and full of sticks...

Excellent. I've been looking for something to cut Gaia Green with. The stuff is a wee too hot for seedlings and babies.

Yeah that should work well, exactly why I started using it. When I mix it with triple-mix I can grow from seed to finished flowers in it. I go 50/50 just because I tried fully organic and found it to be too much of a mess and attraction for bugs indoor. Only thing is it requires some supplemental feeds in flowering but so little (400 ppm ~every 3rd watering) it's worthwhile for me.

That Gaia Green looks good right out of the bag other than what you mentioned, definitely looks hot for seedlings/clones.

any place that keeps their bags of soil outside is looking for issues.

Lol, unlikely coincidence on the SKU number. I tried one of theirs as there's a TSC in Collingwood and their prices are about the best around here, not sure if it was that particular one but I found it way too dry in comparison to the Pro-Mix. Maybe got an old bale or something too though. Price seems to be close on all of those large bales so I just stick with the Pro-Mix. I only go through 2 or 3 bales a year so not a big cost for my small op.

One thing I'd suggest for anyone using any of this peat moss based medium is wear a mask when working with it. Small particles get all over when you're mixing it.

Pyramid seeds
Never grown it, have a 3 or 5 pack I haven't run yet. I do run their Blue Pyramid and it's a nice indica kush/hash bud, solid rocks. Mine has a tangerine smell and flavour. I've run a few seeds and they're very stable/consistent. They seem like decent breeders, probably worth a run.

Grabbed a femmed pack of these today from my grow store....Tutankamon..supposed to be 33% THC......anyone try this strain before?
Grew it out a couple years ago will try and find photos.
1. Surprisingly a lot of variations between plants. Did not remind me of SS AK47.
2. Had slow veg growth.
3. The one plant that I kept was super stinky ( hello officer stinky) and reminded me of a early 80s skunk 1. My wife said it reminded her of the old Seinfeild Bad BO episode. The smell stayed with you.
4. The one plant I kept was a keeper, until I killed my room in the MMAR Harper Gestapo threat.
5. Good yield if you are patient, she exploded in flower.
6. The shorter stockier phenom was the most potent, foul plant.
7. Run veg nuits units until week 3 of flower, picky eater, does not like swings. I could not perfect the cal to mag ratio with this girl. I THINK, she liked a little more mag than calcium in flower.
8. 70 days
