exactly. what that guy said. but i have had friends use them and if ur plants get to big ur kinda screwed. all my buddies that use them do more so for side lighting for the bigger plants they grow than anything. they use an hps for the top and the leds for the sides and lower half when in flower or they would veg the smaller plants with them till they were about a foot and a half tall then switch to bigger lighting. if u had the cash to buy a really good set it should theoreticaly work but i personally dont have the cash to fork out for them so ive never personally tried them. trusty hps and mh work fine and they are cheaper to purchase off the bat, but cost more to run in the end.
not really screwed theres always lst

yeah if u plan that ahead. a lot of guys preffer not to lst. i dont. im more af a topping and natural guy depending on the strains. u have it pretty well planned out. so it should work for u. but dont get stuck with something u cant really put to use later on if u feel like expanding. lol. ive got a few friends that are rocking a bunch of old lights of mine becuz of expansion. ended up costing my a bundle. a 150 a 400 a 600 and then finally a 1000 for my shed. as ur size increases ur footprint will need to be upped as well. should have just baught the 1000 and dimmed it. instead kept spending a bunch of money on shit cuz i never thought id expand so much but growing is an adiction and ive got the fever. lol.

on a side note: getting ready to rock 1600 watts of hps in my 6x4 flower shed. and was thinking of rockin my 150 hps in my 2x4 tent with the 400 mh for more of a dual spectrum. any thoughts from some of the elders following the thread? i was thinkin it would be ballin. lol.

sorry for the thread jack. didnt realize it till i had already posted.
