3 Kings -- Coco & LED

What's up everyone? Figured it's about that time to make another journal. I have a couple old ones posted here and had a lot of fun doing so, thought i'd keep you guys posted on my latest.

The strain is 3 Kings. My dispensary told me it's Sour Diesel x OG Kush x Headband. Three of my favorite strains. Should be some killer stuff. Number of clones this round is two. They are getting transplanted to 3g smart pots tonight.

I grow in straight CANNA Coco, nothing else in the mix.

For veg:
18/6 light cycle -- Advanced LED 200w Diamond Series
CANNA Coco A + B
CANNA Rhizotonic
CANNA Cannazym
MagiCal

For bloom:
12/12 light cycle -- 200w Diamond Series (and TBD possibly may use my 180w extreme flower.as well)
Same as veg plus bloom nutes.
Either going to roll with CANNA Boost and CANNA PK13/14 or I'm seriously considering trying out Atami Bloombastic instead as an alternative.

Yesterday was Day 1 of vegging under the led. One clone looks super healthy while the other is about an inch shorter and has some yellowish coloring to the leaves. First thing I did was spray them down with some House & Garden Magic Green to begin correcting that. I fed a tiny bit of a + b and rhizo. This morning they both are perked up and looking great. Noticed growth already.

I'll get some pics and measurements up tonight after I transplant. Any questions, comments, or suggestions are appreciated and welcome.

Thanks for the support guys! Really looking forward to growing this strain. I've been trying to find out more about it but there isn't much info I've been able to find.

That's right, but also confuses me even more lol. Headband x headband?? Lol I don't know, maybe the guy didn't know what the cross was? Either way, should be some sour flowers! I'm sure it will be lovely no matter the exact genetics.

Think I'll just keep rolling with the description the dispensary gave me (whatever the hell it means) to keep things simple.

Transplant to be continued...I'm still looking for my other smart pot, so in the meantime I just put it in this small container. If I have to, I'll pick up a new smart pot tomorrow.

I treated the coco with 4 ml A + B and around 10 ml Rhizotonic before transplanting. Knocked off as much soil as I could from the roots (the clones came in some kind of soil) and then fed them about a half gallon between the two.

Still recovering from a hard upbringing at the dispensary and tonight's transplant.

The first pic is in veg mode. The others are full spectrum. I'm running them full spectrum just wanted to show a pic of the veg mode. If you want to see any more pics of specific modes let me know and I'll flip some switches.

The plant on the right, you can see the yellowing I was talking about. Should be clearing up in a few days, I hope. I'm not expecting these ladies to be very cooperative and to be pretty finicky. Keeping my fingers crossed for a successful grow. If anyone has experience with growing sour d, og kush, or headband I'd love some advice or feedback.

I've only ever grown ak48, kandy kush, agent orange (was a male and died young), and purple haze... and I've only ever grown in a Waterfarm... so I can't help you much pufflenuff just good moral support... =D

It's all good, appreciate all the support though. Think the yellowing is under control as the new growth in the last two days looks healthy and green. Just have a feeling it's a sensitive strain.

Hmmm, well I think I'm going to try these out while flowering. Can't do any harm, I suppose, and it has to be better than when I did yeast and sugar. Just got the other one into a 3g smart pot. Lock'n'load, ready to go! I'm set, just need to decide a few things for flowering, like whether I should stick with CANNA bloom nutrients or try out Bloombastic? whether I should just use the 200 or if I should get another one (or a different led all together?) My 180 is doing two different clones of a different strain with GH flora nutes in a separate space of the same size. I'll post some pics periodically of those too. That's all for now, trying to think of stuff because there isn't much to update on the plants since they just started. Let me know if you have any suggestions or questions.

Loving that you are gonna try those Exhale co2 bags =D I will be interested in hearing how they work out for you! I dunno anything about CANNA or Bloombastic... I would think your 200 should flower these plants just fine... should be even better than what you got with the 180 on your last grow (which was nice!) If you could combine everything into one room with both lights, that's not a bad idea either, but yeah either way...

Thanks, glad you liked my old grows. You're right, the 200ds will do a great job, im just always thinking about maxing out potential and trying to push things to the limit. I will probably just use the 200 this time alone and be on the hunt for something extra next time. The exhale co2 bags will be my change up for this round. wish I had the proper space to put everything together in the same area but not possible at this time. The strain under the 180 is called Frisian Dew, I had never heard of itbut the guy said it's not a very common strain to come across, so I picked it up. They actually look better than the 3 kings at this point because one of the 3K's still is recovering from the issues it had when I got it. Will try to get pics of both setups tonight.

They're growing about an inch per day. Last night they were 7 and 8 inches tall respectfully. Going to veg for another 10 days or so I think.

sounds good on the veg time puff... frisian dew! dutch bred... looks like a beautiful, colorful plant! Hopefully you will get some nice coloration, and some dank skunk smoke!

Sounds like everything is coming along nicely.........
For co2 enrichment just use a tea candle in a large glass candle holder.....(i know people despise open flame in their grow room)....never had a problem with it.
build a small shelf near your articulating fan to draw it over the plants.....
100 count tea candles at IKEA are 3.99(5hr burn time), plenty for months....just a thought..

Thanks for the idea but I'm pretty set on trying out those exhale co2 bags. Those co2 buckets look cool too. I'd probably burn shit down if I left candles burnung all day while I'm at work, haha.
