3 Weeks flowering... Normal?

Hey peeps,

I have an Indica/sativa hybrid that is 3 wks from the 12/12 switch. Are these buds on track in your opinion? the whole plant seems like it should be bigger and thicker. Any thoughts on why it looks so small? Will it fill out later in flower?

no pic? no guesses.

but yeah, some plants take longer to form buds than others. only you know your environment. if its spot on then its the genetics
rh/temps/co2/air flow/air quality/watering/feeding habits. in line? then nothing to worry about, especially without a pic

Sativa's are going to take anywhere from 10-12 weeks some strains even more. My og ghost train haze took a couple few weeks to really start filling in her bud sites. After growing indica and sativa side by side this grow It seems like in the 4th or 5th week of flowering i noticed that first big spurt of buds thickening. Where as my indica' s first spurt was at 3 weeks. Just be patient with this one :)

I wouldn't say BETTER results. but i suppose it could vary for different strains. I've heard of people going strait to 12/12 with some sativa clones but that's usually with the more lankier, taller sativas and when using scrog.

For sure. I'd never consider it personally . Don't see much point efficiency. What's two or 3 more weeks of vegging it to a minimum to be capable of producing an oz or more vs maybe an 1/4 at best

If I am flowering clones for SOG I veg until I see new growth. That tells me its settled in to its new container. Doesn't take to long and it reduces plant stress.
Imo marijuana can handle a lot of abuse and stress and still produce, maybe not to its best though.

interesting! is this your first go at it? If you have done it in the past, what strains were you growing and what did your yields look like? Does growing indica or sativa make a difference? I would assume a sativa would work better giving it more time to grow and flower.
