Day 40
7-24-2017 : 5:00pm

6.0 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 70f
ppm: 272
ph: 6.11

Notes:
- PH raised a little bit but not going to mess with it
- Plants look the best they have been in weeks. All leaves on the left plant are now up and tons of new growth and root growth
- I added a picture of the left plant that shows a few leaves clawing, not worried about it since its just one leaf set on the whole plant doing it.

I'm not gonna change anything just yet, its just like 1 or 2 leaves on the entire plant that is doing it. I am trying my best not to baby them so maybe this will just go away on its own. 270ppm nutrients is pretty light to actually be having a nitrogen toxicity isnt it?

yeah that's light it is probably from before I'm usually pretty careful about over feeding but it looks like I misjudged things

Day 41
7-25-2017 : 5:00pm

6.0 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 68f
ppm: 271
ph: 6.14

Notes:
- my nutrients must be dialed in, my ppm and ph is staying pretty stable from day to day.
- I have been LST training the branches and all tops are standing back up over night. Looks like there is 7 tops on left plant, and 6 tops on right plant.
- Originally I had planned to top twice, but not sure with all the stress I have given them that I should. Not even sure I need to anyways since I am doing a scrog

Day 42
7-26-2017 : 5:00pm

6.0 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 71f
ppm: 269
ph: 6.17

Notes:
- ppm and ph still maintaining
- tons of new growth, looks like I am getting some stretch now too since I raised the lights up to 24". I think its the right amount of stretch though, I thought they were too compact and bushy before so I am not going to move the lights down.

Question:
Do you think I should top again or just let them grow into the scrog when they get to 8" tall?

I am in agreement with you, even this morning they are even bigger it is looking like growth is really starting to explode. I am actually getting concerned that the two plants are two close to each other now, I should probably start training them away from the middle.

glad to see things going better at least you're not having to start over
Thanks, me too!

They are really taking off now, it is crazy how much they are growing between days. The plant on the right is about 6" tall now, and I had planned to start my screen at 8". So maybe 12/12 by next weekend?

Anyone know what this brown spot is? I have noticed a few of the older leaves have these spots and pretty sure they are new since Thursday. Should I start upping the nutrients/calmag?

Since you just got over root problems, some of the leaves might be messed up from that.

If you go back and look at your pics from the 22nd you can see calcium deficiency on all the leaves, and then on the 23rd more pronounced.

I would leave it alone for a bit, if it doesn't get worse then it's ok.

I wouldn't trip on the spots & just move on with your plan things are way better I wouldn't upset the Apple cart
I guess I'm mostly a little unclear as to when I should start giving more nutrients. Since they are much larger and healthier I just assumed that maybe they need more. I'm still at 300ppm and the plants have more than double in size the last week

I hear ya! what was your starting ppm. & how much have they consumed in this week? I make a mark & when the nutrient level drops I add water back to the mark , let it circulate for a few hours & then see what my ppm. Is , it will tell you how much nutrients the plants actually consume vs. how much water they have sweated out
