I hear ya! what was your starting ppm. & how much have they consumed in this week? I make a mark & when the nutrient level drops I add water back to the mark , let it circulate for a few hours & then see what my ppm. Is , it will tell you how much nutrients the plants actually consume vs. how much water they have sweated out
when things are rocking they can consume 100+-ppm in a day but you have to top off to a marked level , let it circulate then take a reading if you take a reading & the nutrient level isn't up to the mark it's gonna read high & if you add water to the mark & don't allow time to mix more than likely your reading will be low

Well my starting ppm was 280ish, and over the week as the plants drank it remained 280ish. I never topped off with water or anything over the week. They drank about 1.5 gallons and on this Sunday I added a gallon. I guess if the water level lowered and the ppm stayed the same that means I am on target for what they want?

what I've had happen is if I fed around 900 ppm.& they drank a gallon the ppm.climbed to about 1200 but after adding water & letting it circulate a few hrs. then take another reading & its 800ppm. That means they consumed 100ppm. of nutrients

Day 49
8-1-2017 : 8:00pm
~6 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 68f
ppm: 368
ph: 5.96

Notes:
- added 1 gallon R/O + 6mg bloom + 3mg micro + 3ml calmag to res
- this brought the ppm up from 283 to 368. Looks like plants are starting to want more nutrients so I moved the base ppm up from 310 to 360 thats a 50ppm increase.
- looks to be drinking about 1/2 gallon a day now
- move scrog trellis down to 8" mark, plants are sitting right at the net. Screen looks to be about 50% full before I start weaving the branches through the net. I plan on switching to 12/12 at 80% full

Day 56
8-8-2017 : 7:00pm
~6 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 70f
ppm: 382
ph: 6.01

Notes:
- I left town over the weekend Fri to Mon, when I got back I saw my plants had a real bad case of brown spots. I had someone water them for me on Saturday with a premade container of r/o water + normal nutrients schedule. It looks like I got a case of cal/mag deficiency to me, would like others opinions.

- I added 5ml of calmag to the res imediately on Monday, there was probably about 4.5 gallons of water in it
- Today I added 2 gallons of r/o + 6ml calmag + 6ml micro + 12ml bloom

I don't know what's causing the brown but your new top growth looks hungry like about 550 ppm hungry hard to believe those are the same plants as for me I've got one of my tents programming & the other recovering & you know how it is when things go south recovery seems like eternity

So I should up my nutrients? they are sitting at around 380ish ppm in the res, are you saying to bring it up to 550 ish, or another 550 to 900 total?

Day 59
8-3-2017 : 10:00pm
~6 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 65f
ppm: 610
ph: 5.97

Notes:
- added 1 gallon r/o + 4ml calmag + 8ml bloom + 4ml micro
- started doing minor pruning to help some of the lower branches get to the canopy
- not seeing any new evidence of calcium deficiency so looks like I solved that problem. Growth does seem stunted this week but starting to pick up again.

Day 64 (picture update)

I started defoliating some earlier this week. I have been taking only a little at a time starting at the bottom working up. I have also been doing some LST to spread the branches out to fill more of the space of the scrog. My goal is to continue lollipopping for the rest of this week, giving them a few days of recover time and switching to 12/12. Maybe around Wed of next week?

Day 65
8-17-2017 : 9:45pm
~4.5 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 66f
ppm: 635
ph: 5.84

Notes:
- PPM dropped to 430, looks like they drank about 1 gallon of water over night.
- Added 6ml micro + 12ml bloom directly to the reservoir, this brought the ppm up to 635, tomorrow I will add more R/O and nutrients aiming for probably 650 to 700 ppm.
- Did some more defoliation from bottom up + LST.
- Looks like plants are growing fast again, no more stunted problems

Day 68
8-20-2017 : 7:00pm
~5 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 67f
ppm: 730
ph: 6.10

Notes:
- Added 2ml of ph up
- Added 1 Gallon R/O + 18ml Bloom + 9ml Micro + 4ml CalMag
- Did a bunch of LST today, spread out the main branches to reach the sides of the nets, defoliated any leaves blocking new growth to reach canopy
- This will probably be the last of LST, once some of the younger growth catches up with the main branches I should be about 75% scrog complete.
