Tillerson is all but out, and kelley right behind him. Mattis is one more no away from joining them. There won't be many left in the gop who will say anything at all about him if that happens. And the executive branch will be shut down.

More or less the plan all along since it was the only branch even trying to protect citizens..

The other 99% of Americans aren't his constituency.
It's amazing how 80% lies can pull 46.1% of the vote. (at least he's down to 32%, the undecided have obviously RE-decided)

It's even more amazing that 48.2% of the vote doesn't beat 46.1%.

More amazing than both of those is the high percentage of nit wits who literally got their news from FB, tainted with Russian bought ads.

I loved the Bill Maher segment a few weeks ago: 'what if Obama said it'

It's even more amazing that over 40% of registered voters didn't even vote.

Interview with Kurt Andersen, the author of 'Fantasyland, how America went haywire'.

An excerpt from the interview;
'Is it conceivable that the biggest fantasy of all is that the United States is a functioning democracy?

I'm not willing to go there yet. I try to be very narrow in what I call a fantasy. But that is a worrisome question.

People like the Koch brothers aren't fantasists at all. They are among the most reality-based people. They have this gigantic and successful fossil fuels company and they have spent a lot of money over the last 10-20 years casting doubt about the science of climate change because that will make it easier for the business to last longer.

They are cynics who understood how to exploit this easy belief in the untrue to their own ends. That's sort of adjacent to the worry about whether or not we have an operating democracy.'
