Right here is the deciding factor going forward. Reach THESE people, get them to vote and you have shaken the entire political process to its foundations.

Small wonder the Right works so hard at voter suppression efforts, and failing that, making voters so disgusted in the process that they stay away, giving the political minority an opportunity to take power for themselves.

An example; in most States, felons CAN VOTE. Only a few bar them for life, itself a form of voter suppression. It is nonetheless a widespread myth that no felon anywhere in America can ever vote again. Anyone care to guess how that affects supporters and beneficiaries of the Prison Industrial Complex?

No, he's fucking toast. There's a 50% chance he doesn't survive his current term.

You can't win with an approval rating in the 30's in a two party system.

What worries me is how many people he'd be willing to kill in a military action to try to tick up his numbers as Mueller gets closer to putting the hammer down.

Thats what i mean, the masses are fickle... if mueller cant end it, he is liable to do something to scare enough of the difference from 33 to whats needed to win to stick with him, support him again...

these are uncharted waters, no historical model is gospel anymore. Its not impossible we have a strong third party candidate possibly from either the left or right or both even! In a 4 horse race 33% wins... 33 can win a three way race easily too..

Everytime hes underestimated he wins, i will overestimate him till he and the maga minions are gone...

White identity politics (the wall, muslim ban, deportations, hate on NFL protests, Mexicans are rapists, etc.) is proving to be effective and resilient to scandals.

Yeah, you have a point there these days.

But I would like to think truth will prevail.
You can't lie constantly and get the swing vote.

Also, that stock market is going to correct. Maybe sooner than we think. When 401k values are cut by 30-40-50% in a week, watch that approval rating hit the 20's. (where it belongs.)

As many as it takes. He's never shown any reluctance to spend other people's resources to further his own ends- or his ego.

Stocks won't fall that fast, there are trading curbs built in now. But I'm expecting a long, slow crash as the economy itself falls off a cliff, just as it did at the end of the Dubya adminstration.

After all, we haven't actually fixed shit since then.

Believe it or not, there is still an old law on the books in Georgia stating that all men must carry their gun on their person to Church every Sunday.

It goes back to the days of highway robbers. They would rob people on Sundays on their way to Church knowing they would be wearing their best clothes and jewelry. The law was meant to deter that.
