3D Printed 125mm Ducting Connector

Just designed in 3D package supplied with Windows10 a two piece collar that will make changing the bulbs in my "power tube" lamp - the one with the bulb in the glass tube - so much easier. No more struggling with fraying silver ducting! Cost £9.61 to get it printed in 250micron ABS!

Completely overhauled design - my measurements were off in the first design. Bought myself some cheap calipers and remade. This version is now held together with 8 M5 nuts and bolts. Enabled me to put a simple foam gasket in the joint. Printing cost in ABS, £13.

Right hand piece fits over a "light tube" shade - left piece attaches to foil ducting.

Finished thing in place... Only needed 4 bolts to create a seal...

Good work! Problem-solving is strong with this one...
