i wouldnt spend it on a grow room unless i knew the location was secure. where im at thats the difficult part, because unless you own your own place it pointless to go all out on a room that might change. and i would be geared towards more smaller mobile setups.

that plays a factor too...

oh and if your wondering i would go RDWC or flood and drain, maybe even a rockwool drip setup.

2- 4x8 Grow Tents
4- 1000w Lights -cooltubes-
2- 12 pot Ebb and Flow hydroponic systems. One for each tent.
Flip Flop box so you'd be pulling steady current 24 hours a day while running 12/12 in two separate tents.
Portable AC unit, or mini-split heat pump.
Climate controller
Timers, Fans, Filters....
Co2 tanks, and controller.
Bunch of Nutrients, and additives.

I take it you like to veg for along time? I'd rather shove 10-15 girls under each 1000w, at 12 inches flip to 12/12.

Not sure I get ya.

I just recommend a flip flop box and two tents so that you are pulling a steady 2000 watts all day instead of 4000 on a regular 12/12 schedule.
I'm not paranoid, but that could throw up a red flag.

Doesn't matter how long you veg.

Running two rooms isn't just getting a flip box. It requires double of almost everything. Much easier and cheaper to run a single room.

4 grand? You could probably do a pretty good 2K flower room and a 600watt or so veg room. A lot depends on whether or not you are building rooms and how high quality you want your equipment. 2x4's and drywall adds up faster than you think.

I agree with Superstoner, flip boxes only save you on the cost of the ballasts and are really only useful when you have more draw than power available.

Give me 8K and we'll have kick ass grow rooms.

I couldn't believe the cost of drywall, 2x4's, entry door etc.. I thought most of my money would be in the lights but not really true. No labor costs as I did it myself but still materials are expensive these days.

What got me was the little things... extension cords, timers, pumps, ducting, etc. And screws! There's something like 400+ screws in my room and it's not that big!

I never really put into consideration of drywall lol I just stopped by the home depot and was shocked. Oh well, well worth the investment though. I'd rather spend the money on quality and all the proper equipment. I wish i had 8k to splurge on a room
