4 WW in a DWC

I'm running a SH kit with the 11 gallon res and six 3" holes. I immediately bought a 60 gallon dual outlet pump to get more air into the rez.....this will really help put a halt to root rot getting a good start in there.

The SH nutes so fa simply suck for me. They *never* completely dissolve, and I've used hot water that I heated on the stove, put it into a drinking bottle, and shook the living crap out of it....and it STILL wasn't dissolved. For now, I just pour my mix into another container and let the residue go to waste...I've found that I don't get burned leaves as much when I do this.

I would also use DI water to minimize TDS build up and problems. With DI, I haven't checked my ph in a week :)

I planted my seeds in the SH on 9-11-07. There were 5 that germinated, 2 of which were male (one was a WW seed that I paid for...go go rip-off seed companies!).

Anyhow, you plants look good, but woithout more O2 in that rez, my guess is you will get root rot around the 3-5 week. I've seen it countless times from posts on here.

Also, I've used H2O2 (1 teaspoon per gallon) when I either add water, or do a complete rez change. This has helped control the nasties.

But besides that, once you start to figure out nute feeding schedules it becomes great, and you can stop problems as almost before they happen, things work so much faster than soil!

oddly enough the one thats in the bottom right hand is only 3 days behind it. that was the only survivor from my first round that my cat ate. then i had round two of which one is still alive the other, i snapped in half and am trying to fix, one my cat pulled through and died. and htat little one that sprouted at random. i dunno though, totally weird

Also, if you could tell me what is the height of the tallist one? I will be starting some WW soon , I hope (waiting for seeds from AMS). Looks good so far.

yeah the SH nutes suck in IMO and this is my first hydro grow so thats pretty bad they dont really dissolve all the way. I got some GH nutes coming soon they just got sent out well i guess it would be yesterday now, working nights makes all the days blur together lol. Jesus you must play a lot of WoW or you are just way better at it than i am LOL I have never even had a 70 LOL.

6-8 inches i would say at the tallest point just an estimate dont have a tape on hand. These came from nirvana though so dont know if they are gonna be a little bit different

here are some pics the big one has a few leafs that are wicked droopy on the ends and they are really floppy to the touch lol only way i can really describe it.

I just started 12/12 today because the roots are really big and i know they are just gonna get bigger lol

uhm the softness goes away, just make sure your res is staying pretty cool. if you have to, put frozen water bottles in there.

are you using a MH for flower?

yeah i gotta use the MH for flower cause its all i got at the moment.
