400 Watt hps Indoor Soil Grow

hello.
New too growing. So for my first grow auto flowering sounded like a good idea. I plan to grow with a 400 watt hps in soil , only five plants.
1.star Ryder 2.syrup 3.white dwarf . 4 afghan kush and dutch passion tiga.:joint: Should be interesting everything is up and running and seeds are a day away. Any tips with the strains or growing with a hps and auto flowering strands would be great. Thanks my ninjas

This is my opinion growing in a 3x4x5 space with a 400W

1. Use Square pots
2. Tie Side Branching up

I did 6 my first time realized i probably could have done 10 with the square pots, and tieing up side branching

It's recommended to not top autos because once they start flowering they are focused on producing buds instead of growing branches.

I would not crowd your growing space with an 80day bush either. I personally would hate losing the light to the photo period plant. Much needed valuable light!

Veg the photo under a couple CFL's or 2 tubes in a separate smaller area, about 30 days into your autos.

so after about a two weeks i finaly got my seeds. Apprently their was some shipping problems. BUt anyways. Got the seeds, germinated them, and now their in their pots and breaking thro into the world. Its pretty awsome.lol. This is my first grow and i was kind of worried if i was even going to get them to sprout. But i did. The local grow store was out of soil. Out of soil !!! so i had to imprevise. MIxed some up and i have amazing drainage so accomplisments all around so far. I am alittle concered with what i have read about the tiga i really hope she buds for me. I will be posting some pictures of the girls soon
