400hps and tent

I was thinking about ordering this tent and was wondering if u think the exhaust vent it comes with will work well to keep temps down enough for the plants? High Tech Garden Supply

looks like it should be ok... Ideally the FAN would be hooked directly to the LIGHT HOOD/REFLECTOR and pulling the heat away IMMEDIATELY...

That price is pretty high for that unit its about $140 on ebay the big 4 foot by 8 foot by 7 foot model is about $400 on ebay

Does the one for 150 include all the fert and the dual system etc..?? i would never pay 500 for just the tent heh.

Nope but you can get a digital switchable 400 watt light for $99 new or a 600 watt digital switchable for $119.He includes the big heavy magnetic ballast thats loud and uses more electricity then digitals plus digitals dont make noise they are silent and dont give off ballast heat. Nutes you can get anywhere cheap.These are best setup as flood tables inside for simplicity and best results.

Hey thx for all ur help. U have def. changed my mind about the tent. Any sites u can recomend for the light/ ballast. 400w is as big as i need. Thx alot again!

just buy, or get an old closet, get two small fans, for in/expel,the air and get a 400hps and hold it up with chain, it will only cost the price of 2 small fans and the lite.
dont spend loads of money on a tent, you may find after a few week that its too small ect. or you mite have to stop growing for some reason. try to use what you have to start,just get a lite,and if you like growing then later when you know you can and want to grow, then buy the stuff.

All these plants grown under 400w hps in closet. Total cost £70 excluding seeds muck and sand I already had. Dont forget to pain walls white for better reflection. When you hang the light try to keep it in same place and move plants as they grow.
