4x4 Space/Tent Desirable Wattage & PPFD

Looking through all the threads and posts I see multiple answers when it comes to what would match a 1000w hps in a 4x4 tent. Currently have a small diy cob build in a 2x2 tent with 4 Citi 1212s on a HLG 185 48A that has me sold on cobs.

Money isn't an issue but at the same time not trying to waste it. If you could provide an shopping list what would be the best diy cob build to match or outperform an 1000w hps. I constantly see answers within 500w-700w cobs. I'm trying to build another 3-4 lights for my 8x4 tent (one each 4x4 section) and the two other 4x4 tents I have.

So far I have it narrowed down to using citis or veros from what I'm reading online but there's more than one way to skin a cat and would love to hear from people with personal experience and not just data sheets.

9 luminus citi or vero at 75W each. thats actually a lot of light for a 4x4 but if youve previously used 1000W in that space you should be fine

Depends on grow style. If Scrog or Lst 600-700 PPFD will be great (~1150 PPF(in 700s case) counting wall loss) If growing taller plants with some canopy depth I would recommend 700-1000 PPFD (1200-1600 ppf) . This will give you a good start.
