After months of outdoor care taking, my 5'tall "Easy Sativa" from KC Brains has just now started showing sex. IE; Male pollen sacks. This pretty much REALLY sucks. Until the last few days, the nodes showed nothing but the female 2 hair identification traits. Then, ... well, you know. The same strain has showed sex 2 months ago, so the belated is unnatural, caused by other factors, and not the strain, nor the supplier. It was caused by attempting to grow in a very inhospitable environment, further induced by implementing "The Bonsai Effect." While imposed by me, with the horrid weather conditions, the plants never stood a chance in South Texas/Hell. In buckets, in drought, in heat of 100 degrees in the shade, 85 to 95% humidity is the perfect menu for plant abuse at it's finest. Lesson learned, no 5 gal. bucket grows in this area, for sure. I had an opportunity for a back hoe to dig needed trenches, but there goes security-somebody with knowledge of my grow. That is not acceptable, so,.. either way, I'm fucked. At least I'm not busted. First major out door grow- 1/4 mile away, and I have learned some things. This is in hope that a little lesson can be learned by all. On the good side, still have 30 or so Ladies doing very well, Flowering like crazy. I noticed THC crystals covering the bud area this morning on several.
But the most important thing is, for the last month, I have been collecting/harvesting the seeds off these heat stressed Hermies, and putting them directly in the ground- pre mixed soil, & they are popping up like crazy. The various strains doing this is the Afghan, Master Kush, Cali. Orange Bud, Easy Sativa, Danky Doddle, & the G-13/haze. Straight from plant, straight into a well thought-out soil medium. In 3 days, they are popping up. This mainly, is what I wanted you people to know about.
On the lighter side, I need pantie hose to strain teas for my plants, & I want some birth control pills for pre-soaking seeds. As a Male, living alone,..... It jess don't sound right to inquire about such. Happy Growing, Folks!
