50/50 perlite vermiculite

Hi I was wondering if 50/50 perlite vermiculite is good for germinating in solo cups? if so how often should i water? should i go by weight? is it easy to overwater? do i need to fertilize at every water?

Hey I'm new here,and I also am not doing your 50/50 verm/perl. Mix. But however I'm using a 50/50 coco/perl.mix.

I germinated 10/10 no pre-germ used. I lightly misted daily(2-5 sprays) the water was from a fish tank that had water diluted weekly.

Idk what course grade verm you are using but I hope this helps.

Also I use the smaller red "solo" cup. And my perlite is really chunky.
