Looks a nice set up... be good to see what leds are like at growing

I cant wait to see this. Are your making this a log? Or do you have one? I've been trying to find more information on growing with LED's. Let me know how your results are! Good Luck man!

To grow a fully grown plant to flower you will need more LED's. I talked with the company that sells those, great setup to begin with man but you may need to get more in the end...

This will be very interesting. Please keep us up to date with the growing. I dont think I have seen a LED grow yet.

It depends on what state you live in but with three plants you will probably only get a slap on the wrist with a max fine of ($5,000?), but I think it will be closer to $500. The thing that will hurt you is if they caught you with the weed in individual bags for distribution.

I know there is a website I will look for so you can check the actual laws. Don't quote what I am saying because I am going off my memory as of now.

Get some UVB LEDs in there once you induce flowering, that would be sweet, please keep us updated w/ some pics if possible, not to many people document LED grows.

if you don't want to be busted, just don't tell anyone. keep it a secret grow and it will remain that way. its really cool you're doing led grow im excited to see your results. please keep us posted on your efforts.

when using leds you also must be careful how much you water your plants. leds don't produce a lot of heat, especially what you have, so your plants wont dry out as fast.

good luck!

I thought LED's don't produce enough lumen's for a grow?

When I was researching lighting, I found LED's, while they had a nice lumen/watt ratio, but it was offset because the LED's themseleves use such a small amount of WATT's themselves?

Example, I have seen some LED's that are pushing 100 lumens per watt (lab's actually had a 150 lumens/watt), but the problem is the thing only does 3 watt's... So while on paper, you might say WOW 150 lumens/watt!!! But the actualy output of this is 450 lumens.

I believe you stated the LED's total 50 watts? Is that 50 watt's total (for all the lights you have), or is it 50 watt's per fixture? By taking the latest breakthrough technology, your getting 150 lumens per watt (more likely 100 or less)... 50 X 150 == 7500 lumens...

I am very curious on how this grow will end up, as all my research showed these lights are not as efficient as a CFL, T5, HPS, MH, etc..

Good luck man, I hope you prove my research wrong, as LED's have a lot of benefits to them!!!
