6" x 22 " 558 samsung 561c led panel

two x 250w panels driven @160 w each with fan on each panel....sorry... i wired the driver there for now.

Day one of clones under two of these double grids

will veg for week or two then 9 of them will go under the 6 panel grid @600w for flowering

these are my fave indicas mostly

on thursday i transplant the sativas in in coco...veg em for week [or two] then flower 9 over 4 x 4 ft area

th ose and all the other seedlings i started are under the 15 strip 600w panel on flood and drain

bar none is the chemo/og [OZ or chog] clone

that is basically a healthier version of the chemo clone i had since 96

got new 3000k samples...they seemed to be similar

i gotta test them again


two days later under panels..starting to grow now

ok new ones are more powerful

cobkits tests were fine

i got 35640 compared to 35500

the 2700k read about the same as the older 6 x 22 panel

but as far as % difference..that does not seem like much

i still think that first panel was weird... will test another. i have the chilleds now so will try to do some tests of those as well once i solder them up. its the weekend which bodes well

would these be any use in a cab as side lighting for sog grows, having qb's as main light sources.
If so how close can these be to the plants?.

they have the same chips in them i am using them for veg and flower...i am using a fan attached to each..

they are 250 w and 6" x 22" 48 v dc

how close depends on what wattage you are using and what the particular plants want..it is subjective

i had to raise mine for two particular sativas while the other two were fine..less is more from what i am gathering

Do you also know the voltage bins of your 561cS6 diodes? Is it AZ, A1 or AY (top bin). There is a 20mV gap at nom. current(65mA) between AY and A1, which could be one of the reasons for the slightly different results.

they were the indicas and are very dense branchy and squat../ i look forward to seeing themstretch under 12/12 ...

ps..i love the two panel rigs with the two fans..the 3/4" channel aluminum directs the air good enough to easily keep it cool

here are the transplants i posted a week ago..

they had been over watered and not enough cal/mag

getting all these mini systems ready along with cloning and building led grids slowed me down on getting my new nutrient regimen in order..which i have never really completely done
i should have it more together tomorrow..if the ratio's etc work i will post them..
calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate along with some silicon

then i willsee what n-p-k ratio i do..i have mono potassium phosphate but we willsee if ihavev
the guts to try to fit that in

i would like to do organic as long as its hydroponic so it seems if i really want to do that

will have to go aquaponic since i donnot feel pbp is organic and do not do jug nutes anymore

it would take more than a few fish..hahaha

anyway..ihave kelp, dry soluable fulvic and amino acids... starting to use that as foliar

flowering starting under 6 x 22 panels..when i dial in my new nutrient ratio's..i expect better things but i am dang happy so far

not pushing the light..i really think less may be more..i see that this light can do 5 x 5 ft ie.25 sq ft

Today 20 same size

Awesome 12-15 ft weedline

And a couple good smallmouth on the sand flats

This configuration has been working very well
The simple channel angle aluminum
With a/c fan cools fine
Also two 6x22inch 250w panels
Each ran at 160w helps with not over heating

The six panel @ 600 w is covering 5x5ft area
And due to only running @100w each
Is only warm to the touch with a room fan on it

Changed nutes omg they were in the low fours ph
I dunno how they don't look worse
Hopefully this new mix works
I know the foliar is working
I am almost caught up

The thing is you have to find a reputable company, having done business in China I can assure you that most companies, especially the ones I dealt with had a Knack of not giving you what you asked for. If its cheap its cheap for a reason and would have me questioning the authenticity of the part and whether it was a genuine Samsung Diode. Cheap parts tend to offer terrible performance/longevity so beware of the false economy that is Cheapness lol!

@OMS gotta say this type of design makes sense as far as LED... no scrub that as far as horticultural lighting is concerned, having tested similar lighting layout/configuration back in the day using 4ft x 8 Phillips TLD 36w/840 tubes I always found performance was much better vs 600w HID, due to the even distribution of light across the canopy and the Fact that you could place the tubes within touching distance of the plants... With the advent of LED strips, QB's and your panels here this type of layout is/was a no brainer... Good luck on your venture
