I have been using a hortilux in the ole cooltube i have (old school magnetic ballast currently), a friend whom is a few states away grows with an ushio red bulb and swears that for flowering its everything the hortilux is and more but i wanted to ask the community before i spent 100 bucks on a bulb that may or may not be as good as the mighty hortilux! Can anyone brief synapsis describe the pro's and cons of cooltubes as oppossed to enclosed hoods? The wife and i are debating upgrading to an hydrofarm enclosed hood 600 to upgrade the cooltube. Any thoughts?
