Yeah she's female.

I turned her back to 18/6 so I can veg her some more, and I've also started some LST on her. Its only about 8 days since I turned the lights back to 18/6 so its not back in veg yet.

Sorry to hear about the bad genetics. When you get a good true female you like try out a hempy bucket.

You look like a good convert candidate. I hate soil indoors too.

You gave up on the hempys too soon.

Seedlings do not grow fast in them.

You tossed them out because they were growing slow but if you did your research you would have read that seedlings are slow growing in hempys. Its better to start with clones.

Once the seedling is old enough to be considered mature it would have grown at the fast pace you were expecting.

I will add that if you only have the ability to grow from seed hempys may not be the best way. But anyone can take a cut and stick it in a glass of water to get roots.

ok hempies do work good for others but i still say soil is better, i didnt give up to soon either. i planted 2 hempys i started them in soil for a week then into the hempie pots. and the seeds i planted at the same time in soil were ready to be flowered in 2 weeks, the hempies looked like they grew an inch in a month so my soil beats the shit out of hempy, and also it takes much longer to root a cut in water, it also has a lower chance of surviving. but this isnt my thread so im not gonna continue on this

A few questions about that fan. What type is it and how loud is it? Also..are you worried that pumping moist hot air into your attic is going to cause mold problems?
Sorry mate I missed your post. Which fan are you talking about?

I've got a 150mm fan connected to my cool tube. And I've got a 400mm fan connected to my carbon filter. There's some serious negative pressure in that room. They are both very noisy. With both the cupboard door and bedroom door shut, you can hear them easily from the next bedroom. Its more the vibration through the walls that you can hear. They have a real hum to them. But you can't hear them from anywhere else in the house, only from the room next to the grow room, which shares the same wall. So yeah noise is a problem.

I've also got two box fans at each end of the cupboard blowing onto the plants.

Im not worried about venting the warm air into my roof space because my roof space is well ventilated.
