Hello everybody that rolls it up!
I'm am going to be starting up this grow journal and hope to check in with everyone everyday if possible.. we'll see lol.
I'm fortunate enough to now live in a state where weed is legal and I'm able to have up to 12 plants..
It has been over a year since my last grow and I'm really looking forward to getting it up and running again. My last grow was a coco/perlite mix 75%/25%.. I hand watered using advanced nutrients I believe. The strains were white rhino and blackjack from nirvana. I also have DWC experience in the past and honestly loved that system but was always concerned with a leak or power outrage leading to catastrophe. Though neither ever happened it was always a concern.. plus added to the electricity bill a little. So for the time being, I think I'm going to stick with the coco/perlite mix.. I like the simplicity but would like to set up an automated drip system of sorts because as much as I like checking on my plants, I also enjoy being able to throw some back with the guys or take off for a few days with the lady..and not have to worry about my plants drying out.
I'm familiar with drip systems but maybe someone could steer me towards the proper timer and as always any tips/suggestions for improving the system.
I'll be growing in a 5x5 tent with a 600w light. I also have a P600 led lamp that I will be using for some veg and probably during flowering as well. I plan on doing runs of 6 plants in those felt grow bags in a drain to waste system.
I want to grow what I love (diesel) but am also looking to get a quick crop because I'm running low on smoke and haven't bought in awhile and don't plan on it. Here's a list of the seeds I have so really any input on results from you guys is much appreciated. They are all new to me so either way it will be a learning experience. I would like to keep at least a couple mins for cuttings.
