Im 8 weeks into flower in my DWC system and im growing in a small cab. Unfortunatly it was a little hot around 85-90 degress and i guess the water pump got unplugged somehow that is connected to a timer. So at the same time it didn't get watered for a couple days so those 2 things caused the plants to have heat stress and burnt the leaves. The plant smells more like leaves now then actual dankess. Will this affect the buds? Should i chop the plant now or just wait the last couple weeks? This grow was so horrible for me, i had 2 plants, one got root rot so i trashed it and this one didnt grow at all I'll probably get a quarter to a half from it. Heres some pics.

From the size and condition of the plant - yeah - start again. Did you solve the cause of the root rot so that it doesn't happen again?

So your suggestion is to chop it already ?should I even flush at all? It could have been a number of things I'm guessing mostly heat stress that's caused the root rot but my only solution to heat is putting a bunch of frozen water bottles inside my cab.

when I looked at it on my phone earlier it looked all burnt up and toast. I would just cut it and start again man.. Why waste more time and electricity and effort on this, just cut it and start some new ones.. you learned from your mistakes hopefully, so you wont make those again in the future

Well the leaves around it are burnt up but not the buds their self the buds look pretty fresh though I'm just saying if the leaves around it are burnt up is it even worth smoking the buds are they going to be any good? Yeah I'm looking forward now this cycle was just a test run and now I've did a lot of reading on a lot of forums and know what I'm doing more likely. I'm going to switch from dwc to Super soil I just think it's a way easier method. Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot man. do you think it would be a problem that I didn't flush any nutrients out of it even though it's a small amount?

it may be harsh, do you think its getting worse everyday? last grow i had got a little light burn so I ended up cutting early because the leaves just continued to get worse and worse..Maybe back the light off alot and just flush for a few days?

It doesn't seem to be but i could be wrong. You mean lights off for 2 days flushing?

No need to trash it that's terrible advice finish it out and smoke it flush if you want, but I would go ahead n chop
Agreed. Absolutely smoke it! Enjoy a good buzz, I'm sure it will at least be decent - and figure out what to do different next time.

Unfortunately, it can be a bit of a process getting each grow dialed in - but you're doing it!

Thanks for the info dudes yeah i chopped it and trimmed it up a bit. I hung it up in my top corner cabinet drawer in my kitchen that nobody uses. A nice dark cubby whole. The buds are tiny and airy but got lots of hairs and crystals I'm sure I'll get a buzz. So much time and effort spent but you live and you learn and im ready for another round. Im switching from DWC to Super Soil but I'm skipping veg, picking up 2 teen clones and putting them straight to flower.
