Working current would indicate that its true power is 500-600W Accounting for driver loss, its probably pushing 50W per cob. What are they quoting for a price?

not a good light. cxa 3070 are old leds. cree moved to cxa 3590 with high power leds. These are mid to low power leds, not worth the money.
If you are going to buy a light from China try one of these ->

why are they so much worse then 3590? dont they put out the same output basically? 10,000 lumens per cob? at max right? so its probably putting out 4-5,000 lumens per cob. arent 3590 just more energy efficient? and the lights you posted in the video are to small for my area. im looking to pull atleast 1lb per 4x4. right now i have 600w hps but i wanna switch to led thats equivalent to 1000w hps with dimming.

Yeah. But, that video was funny as fuck. Loved it.

I still get 3 Pizzas off old cxa and cxb3070 1100 watts in a 4.5 x by 9.5 tent.

Communicate with them. Lol The COBs are close together/cheap drivers. But, find out about the specs.

It's still going to be way better than 1960s HPS technology.

dude from the first light emaild me back. look at this retard. hes telling me his 9 cob light with 9 cxa3070's only has 1200 lumens and 230 par with 8000 lux LOL! isnt that impossible? theres no way the numbers are that small for 9 cobs. are they supposed to be like 5000 lumens a piece? with around 1200 par?

Yeah, my guess is they made a mistake and meant to write 12,000lm and that info is per COB. With 12,000lm they might be using CB bin now, or at least saying they are.


More importantly, why would you send out an email to a company and ask them if you could "get 1 lb"? I'd hold off on calling people retards until you can write a formal request.

At the prices you are being quoted for these monstrosities, you could get a nice 4 cob 300W Vero setup from Timber, or Cobkits, and have a much better product.

why are the bad. its a cxa 3070 9 cob. i doubt its that bad. and the other light has 1800 par and 90,000 lux. i think thats better then a 4 cob vero 300w setup, and also i told the dude i want the ability to get atleast 1lb per 4x4. why are you calling me the retard? thats a resonable number. its not like a 1lb is alot for a 4x4.

they also have weed all over the ad for the light. so i figured they had experience with the light and would know how much it could pull.

To elaborate - The real world collective experience of this group will tell you to avoid the blurple "multi-spectrum" lights like the second one, unless you just want something cheap - and that one sure as hell ain't cheap. It's essentially just three mars hydro type lights in one frame. The CXA 3070 light is better, but its several generations behind what out now and I guarantee you a 300W Vero 29 rig, or 300W Cree 3590 rig will outperform it in just about every way - for about the same cost.

I understand that blurple is said to be worse but at the same time. people with crees are having to supplement with far red and uv and ir . kind lights are blurple and there are several high end lights like blackdog and black diamond perfect sun. leds that are also burple . that iv watched and followed grow logs where burple can grow some bomb. no denying that cree's are better but i go by par/lux ratings. and honestly for the money. there are some full spectrum lights that are good. and they have ones that are 12 bands and not just red and blue.

why do you think there making mix'd lights with cree and bridgelux blurple mix. like this https://www.topshelflight.com/
i can buy this same light from geyaplex direct from topshelf lightings supplier for $600. for the 600 model rather then $1099 from topshelfs site. . what do you think of topshelf lights?
