Welcome everyone, This is my first official post on these forums and I would like to say the community looks amazing and the people seem very understanding and helpful, I recently(with a friend)decided to start growing our own plants, We came with the idea of starting the plants inside the shell of an' old computer of mine, Laced inside with tin foil. We have the shell built and the foil layed, Currently we are looking for an' HID light or a CFL's. We'll update the post everyday. Posting pictures of the setup and the potted plant within' the next day or so!

Welcome to RIU ASAP SyncHD, hope your Grow goes Ok What Strain you thinking of Growing?

A lot folks would say Don't use Tin Foil/Silver Foil ~ Mylar Pretty cheap, or could just paint it Matt White..I think Tin Foil/Silver Foil can give you Hot Spots and also is not that Reflective...having said that some peeps do use IT but think they have the Dull side facing the plants(Out) Depends on how Big your PC Case but think you'd be best of with CFL...maybe 30w though 80w or 125w would be better(This Real Watts not Equivalent) some folks go with Multiplies of maybe 23w and have Great success. LED might be a option? again depends on space you have to work with....

Thanks for the welcome, As I said everyone seem's helpful and very friendly. Im glad to have chose this forum to make my post. THe current strains were choosing from is a personal choice, Both me and my friend LOOVEEE blueberry's, The taste, the smell, like everything about it so at the moment were sticking through and through with our Blueberry kush I also hope this goes well and love feedback! I enjoy anyone that's here to help me improve and better my growing skills or "Green thumb" haha. Ill be frequent and will be updating anytime something happens or we progress.

Update; Currently we have our case built for the vegitation stage. The inside of the computer shell is layered with tin foil. We have a small ventilation space on the side of the shell and the front. I have a light but have not checked my wattage and type of lighting so currently im just waiting for the seeds to germinate and then I will be potting them and putting them in my "veggie box" as I call it haha. This is the Shell <----|---->

Update; Currently we have the seed poking tiny little sprouts out from our germination stages, Hope fully soon we will have a nice easily visible sprout, Now we also picked up an' old grow light a family member of mine had, Its a 15watt, LED(I believe) Fleuorscent light. The bulbs needed for it are 17 and A quarter inches long.
