A bit of exhaust/filter confusion

Hey,
I'm new to all of this and have looked everywhere for an answer to this question. I might have read the answer to it somewhere, but couldn't make complete sense of it, so here it goes..I'm planning on getting a carbon filter that comes with an attached fan on it, but it only produces about 240 cfm. I was also going to buy an addition cap fan, which would produce about 740 cfm. If I was to hang the filter over the grow room and have it pull/push air into a duct, which leads to the CAP fan, would that be an effective way of moving the air faster? Maybe the other way around? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Use ONLY the 740cfm fan... dont have a "push/pull" battle going on between the fans because u would be forcing one of the fans to work harder then its rated and over time burn the one ur forcing out...

So If I was to replace the stock filter fan with the 740 would I have it in the grow room with it and just have the duct stream to an outside vent? Would 740 CFM be enough to push air through 25 ft of duct? What if I was to have the 240 cfm in front of the filter and the 740 directly behind it? Sorry if I'm sounding redundant. Trying to look at all my options.

740cfm would be MORE then enuff to push threw 25ft of duct... Also ur askin about the battle of the fans again.. ive seen people have problems pulling air threw the carbon filters at a rate to fast to filter ALL the smell out... have faith in the 740 its pretty powerfull

Well the room is roughly 1350 cub ft. So you're saying if I attached the 740 fan to the scrubber and placed it in the grow room that there should be a sufficient amount air being pulled out, leaving nothing else needed except maybe a small intake fan, correct? What If I let the scrubber hang solely and had the exhaust fan ducting out separate?

Best thing i can tell u is to try it without the 240cfm connect everything go to the outlet duct and feel the air coming out...compare it to wat the air felt like coming out of one peice of duct work.. i always check this way before i finsh connecting the rest of the duct work to see how much of a change there is a basic way to "feel its strength" before the long hall.. and if it feels weak add the 240cfm some where in the middle about 10-15 feet out from the grow room since u said it would total about 25ft..
