How do you feel about people crossing a strain that u have created with somethin different, stabilizing it and naming it what they want. Would this offend u? What if they started selling them in masses would that upset u?

Your question is either picking a fight or lacking professionalism. Try offering something in return from your breeding project instead of openly calling him out. If you were serious you would have Private Messaged this question.
It's like your saying:
Can I pollinate your supermodel daughter - then let the grandchildren pollinate each other until we make some super special supermodels and profit from them? Would that be OK?

People already do this, there is nothing I can do really but out work others and be nice to everyone I meet and keep making Dank :)

breeding is a game and business, and just like any highly profitable business with a lot of competition and product variation, expect there to be snakes.
wherever there is money or credit involved, protect yourself and your investments by always being skeptical about who you work with.
im positive this way of thinking has saved me a whoooole lot of trouble working with lazy and insincere people who i know would rip me off.

all you can really do is bite your tongue and move on my friend. win that battle by crossing that plant back with the new super strain you've created in the time since that dick robbed you. lol good luck.

Look through the genealogy of his strains and you will find that they were made from strains that others created that he used to make his strains from and that he then named and he is now selling. So, should he have any reason or right to be upset if someone else does the exact same thing to create their strains as he did to create his strains? Sub relied on strains others created to create his strains so why shouldn't anyone else have an equal right to use his strains for their creations if they believe it will result in something good being found?

it dosnt matter, most strains were pinched off someone else to start with: dont believe all the hype about "strain hunting" go to morocco and get some "landrace genetics" problem is the moroccan plants have been fucked up with alien strains from pakistan, (the hash from morocco for the last ten years at least has reflected this, its a much darker colour than it used to be). these days it is difficult to get uncorrupted strains, most anything from a seed company came from somewhere else in the beginning, take top 44 which was from Nirvana, but no longer available, it was just Sensi seeds Top 45 with a different name, Bubblegum/bubbliscious, ak47/ak48 and so on, so like i said it dosnt matter.

new strains can only be made from OTHER people's strains. Unless you know of a way to produce synthetic pollen.
If you can produce a strain as good as one of sub's, Go for it.

In the case of Bubblegum/Bubbelicious it would depend on whose Bubbelicious you would use for your example. In the case of Resin Seeds it is not the same as Bubblegum and is instead Bubblegum x Lavender.

In the case of Sagarmatha's AK-48 it is AK-47 X Soloryder.

You can only put so much faith in a strain name actually telling you what it is because some breeders will use the same name or a variation of a name for a genetically different strain and mislead you into believing it is genetically the same. A prime example is the original Bubba Kush and Green House Seeds Bubba Kush. They are genetically as different as night and day, but yet they carry the very same name and some people will believe they are exactly the same, just as some people wrongly believe the 25 or so genetically different versions of White Widow/Black Widow are the same just because they have been given the same name.

There are no truth in advertising laws covering cannabis genetics and some breeders do tend to take advantage of that to help line their pockets.

My question is neither picking a fight nor lacking professionalism.

I'm simply asking sub what he thinks about people using the strains he has created to create new strains. My question has been answered perfectly thanks for everyones input.

The answer i got is what a thought it would be, just wanted to hear it from the man himself.

I'm sorry to come off as an asskiss jerk, I just thought breeders didn't make new crosses without at least getting permission to do so from the original breeder. So many people making crosses that it's confusing. I was looking into getting more Jillybean and found F2's at a club in seed form. I was so happy to be able to get 15 seeds for 20 USD until I found out it was done by an unknown breeder. They had every seed vendors seeds in F2 form it seemed. TGA, Greenhouse ect....
It's a plant so I guess theres nothing to stop you. Maybe you will become a jouneyman breeder my friendly 300 driving butcher man.:D
I expected you to come back at me strong.... Mnnnn Perhaps I'm talking to a gentleman.
I apoligise for coming at you strong .:)
Peace

The way I see it is it shows how quality Sub's strains are that people want to make hybrids with em'. Also, if you pay for seeds then the strain is your property and you can do whatever you want with it. You should be honest about what it is and it's background but it is still yours to do with as you please. Take me for instance, I'm a fan of the flavors and potency of Subs's strains but I also like my Indica's. I hit most of my keeper TGA gear with my favorite indica's to get better bud density and plant structure while imparting different flavors.
