So i have been in veg stage now with cfls on 24/7 since december 3rd. None have shown any sign of sex yet, i trimmed off a few fan leaves when they were getting out of control and they regrew out of the top of the node! at first i thought it was a male but i was watching it very closely and could see they were for sure fan leaf tips and not nanners. anyways, i have 2 very basic questions.
1:I am looking for a legit and dependable light timer that has at least 2 plug ins, can anyone reccomend one that is fairly cheap and is available widely throughout the Western US? as of now i have borrowed just about everything i am using so the less expensive the better! in the meantime i think i am gonna swith to 18/6 manually
2:I may or may not have read somewhere that lowering the temperature while flowering can make for better buds, obviously in nature when the sun goes down it gets a little cooler out, but i have an air conditioner unit that is mobile; what i was wondering is would it do anything if i put the air conditioner in my grow closet, only to be ran during the dark stage? i have enough room in there, with 6 plants, but if its not gonna do anything but swell up my electric bill, i'll probably pass on that grass.
