Green Thumb of God
A lot of people talk about how hard it is to grow weed. This made me very reluctant to start this hobby because well I'm a pothead and I'm lazy. But I figured what the hell one day and bought myself a 400 watt HPS and some seeds. 2 years later I have had 100% success with quite a few small grows from scratch. I have made this journal not to show the meticulous detail but the relative simplicity of growing quality green. Don't expect any great secrets to be unearthed just expect to see the minimum amount of work that can be put in to recieve a decent output.

02/22/08:
I ordered 15 seeds from Nirvana Seeds 10 White Widow and 5 feminized wonder woman. Order shipped 02/08 Order recieved today 02/22. I have used Nirvana in the past they are always reliable for me. Stealth Packaging was very creative and without giving seecrets away I will just say it actually came with a useful item for the garden.
I am a very lazy pot grower and I do so many things wrong that I'm amazed at the luck I've had in past grows. I could probably change a lot of things but I'm always happy with what I get and if it ain't broke why fix it. Of course my ghetto setups break all the time and this journal will include all my generic quick fixes to my pot induced mishaps.
Currently my grow room is in a large closet/furnace room (furnace room? *gasp). the walls are painted flat white and the grow area is seperated from the rest of the room with a plastic tarp (ghetto). Inside the tarp are 10 pots and a 400 watt HPS hanging over head. The room conveniently has a drain in the middle of it taking care of all my drainage needs. I have one large room fan that blows the air around. One advantage to this furnace room is it cycles air all day long on it's own.
Germination begins today I found a small plastic tupperware and cut about a 1" circular hole in the top. I put a papertowel under the sink for about three seconds squeezed it out so the dampness is evenly distributed throughout the paper towel. Threw the seeds in the paper towel, folded it ove the top of the seeds, closed the lid to the container and stuk it in a dark drawer. 5 seeds per tupperware, 3 tupperwares=15 seeds. I only have ten pots so I am actually counting on the fact that some will not germinate and may need to put two seeds in some pots.
