made up some soil to transplant my plant in it has blood and bone meal in the soil already but the gf feed the girls last night some liquid nutes same ones we normally use. was wondering if i transplant her in to the soil will it effect her as the meals are slow release and i don think will be available yet just dont want to burn her if i transplant soon. all the nutes in the new soil are all slow release

Does she like being spanked because that's a spankable offence. labrat.gif

Can't tell without more info.

What kind of liquid nutes and does she know exactly how much she gave them?
What kind of soil are you using that has slow release nutes in it?
Have you got lots of perlite in said soil?

And how much soil are we talking about?

after a few days she did not show any signs of burn and im thinking she should be ok with one more liquid nute feeding before the organics start working. thanks for the responses. i actually think it did nothing to her. my gf knows how to feed them right was just wondering because i normally like to let her dry a bit before transplanting and not feed her a few days before. gf just did not know i planned to transplant them the next day and seen they where dry so she feed them as it would of been feeding day if i was not transplanting

Unless you heavily overdose vegging plants they won't show signs of burn often. When burn can suddenly show up is right after the stretch is done about 3 weeks after flowering is initiated. During stretch the plant eats more than it was before flowering. Up to 4X more each day according to ppm readings I would take daily in DWC. As soon as stretch is over feeding drops drastically and in hydro that drop signals when the stretch is over. If ppm levels are still very high and the plants have salts built up in their leaves they suddenly are overdosing on food they can no longer process as fast and the burn starts. By week 5 older fan leaves and/or those closest to the light receiving a lot of radiant heat start to get thick, brittle and burning all over their surface rather than just the tips and edges.

That's toxic salts buildup and it can happen even with organically grown pot fed with hard tap water because the salts in the water also add to the total salts load in the leaves.

Communication is the key to keeping the plants on track when growing with a partner.

I like to take a pic every day or two then compare. It can be hard to see the change when you see them all the time. Like this old hip-roofed barn I go by on the way to the fishing hole. Been taking a few pics every year as it returns to the earth. :)

It's nice when they get into gro-fast mode and you can almost sit there and watch the grass grow without getting bored. I've had over 2"/day growth with DWC and that's nice to see.

Taking a break from moving old compost from the heap about 100' to the wife's new garden. Hot today but windy so it's not bad and the wind is keeping the mosquitoes and black flies off my skinny naked torso so I can get a bit of free vit. D. and an off-white colour.

i want to try DWC but got to save to buy all the testers. i did try one with no testing and straight unphed water and it did nice just keep it in a small container and changed the water every so often did not think it would live but it did a good job

For a simple easy DWC I use the pH Perfect nutes with RO water and don't need a pH tester for that and could likely get by without an EC or PPM tester too tho you can get a PPM pen for around $20 and it's good to know what your ppm is.

I do a lot better growing my plants in water than dirt.

thanks for the info i will be using this. one more question i got two plants one in the ground one in a pot. started the same time feed the same but one is growing like crazy its at least 4-5 feet. ones freedom dream auto its now flowering but the one in the ground is like 1 foot looks super healthy but so small. would that be from the plant in the pot hitting the bottom and then working on the canopy growth and flowering well the small one is still working on rooting. have no clue the strain of the one in the ground it was a seed given to me he says its a kush. i can tell its mostly indica from the big old fat leafs but its growing so slow. they are both getting the same amount of light
