A pH question?

i just bought a pH meter and found that two of my plants have a pH of 6, one had 5.5, and one had a pH of 5. Is this good or bad. Also my water tested at 5.5 is that normal

i was told that you should water with nothing less than a pH between 6-6.5, is that true?

wow 5.5 out of the tap?... the trick is to keep your PH level consistant. if you give 6.0 ph keep it 6.0 PH... more advanced growers adjust the ph during the life cycle but in my exprience it won't make or break the grow... if your water is 5.5 i would keep it there your nutes will raise your ph levels in your water a little and soil

no your nutes will most likley not raise your ph it will lower it and the farther you are from the right ph the worse off you are there are certain nutrients that your plant needs and cannot uptake these nutrients outside those ph levels so what the hell listen to whom you want but I'd go with 6.3
