A simple question about cloning with rock wool

you may experience some yellowing and lockout and the clones will have a hard time. Wait and see. Time will tell. I would use rapidrooters myself over RW if I didn't have the pH pen/chems to mess with it.

good luck

I didn't have enough money to ask for all the things I was advised to get lol... Wow never knew about hydropnic stores... there like maid for growing weed... saw 4 guys in there none of them looked like the gardener type... but definetly the smoking type...
Definitely going to be making semi frequent stops there though...

look for these.

Also get dip N Grow rooting hormone or a cloning gel.

and a scalpel

make sure the area is clean. No smoking.

fuck misting the clones. just spray the inside of the dome lid if needed and lightly water the rooting plugs after 4 days....then again at 7 days...at which point you should start to see roots...
Bullshit-using Jumpstart from Advanced(which you mist on your clones through the humidity dome period) helps them stay healthier, and root alot faster. Ive used clonex, olivias, and dip n grow and i think dip n grow works the best-plus its cheap and more concentrated.Btw- rapid rooters are THE best medium for starting seeds-For clones it doesnt really matter-if you know how to use rockwool well youll get the same results as you would from rapid rooters, but seeds are a different story-Ive germed seeds in coco, soil,(FFOF, Happy Frog, and light warrior-light warrior works the best if your going to germ in soil-FFOF can burn seedlings), rockwool and rapid rooters-nothing is faster then rapidrooters and the seedlings love them-Green,thick fuzzy stems after a day or two.I put some pics up and a little tutorial on rapidrooters on another thread because theyre all i use now and my germ rates are 100%-you can have problems with them though if you dont know how to use them-They work best if you cut some of the top off(they make the holes pretty deep and the seed can get stuck mid germination) and if you using a heating element WITHOUT the tray sitting in water to keep the seeds moist-this keeps them too moist and you can get seedrot. just spray them lightly every now and then, throw the tray on the heating pad set at 80 and youll be good
