So this is "Part B" of my first grow. Original thread here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/long-veg-time-maybe-bad-genetics-or-not-autos-should-i-flip-to-12-12.981109/

Just a recap: I planted four seeds of a strain known as Candy Cane Auto from Crop King seeds that I had bought 2 years ago, before really doing much research. The four plants had not begun flowering by day 51, so I switched to a 12/12 light schedule, and kept that up until harvest.

It is now 20 days later, and two plants seem to be revegging. I will use these two plants for this grow. You may ask why reuse two failed autos? Good question. As it turns out, I made some bubble hash from the trim/larf from those plants, and it is kick ass. The bud is curing, and the flowers from these two plants have a distinct citrus smell, with just a hint of fuel/diesel. Not the frostiest bud I've seen, but still pretty good trichome production. I don't have any immediate need for bud - the last grow provided enough material to last nearly two years - but I want to try a few different things not done in the first grow:

1. Improve canopy management, including a scrog.
2. Want to learn how to clone
3. Use colloidal silver to produce pollen for later use. (CS not STS since STS or progenitor chemicals are somewhat hard to come by in Canada.)
So I consider this grow to be primarily a learning experience. I grow for personal use/enjoyment, and maybe to send a bit to my adult kids.

I tend to make rather pic heavy posts, once there is something to actually see, haha.

Anyone wishing to provide constructive criticism is welcome to post in this thread.

I think this thread will probably start off fairly slowly - based on the timelines I've read about for plants to reveg. Here's some pics of the plants immediately after harvest, and again today, three weeks later. I'm actually surprised at how much leaf matter has been added, and how much the bits of bud I left have also grown!

The old leaves seem to be suffering a bit, I screwed up nutrients after harvest by giving too much nitrogen - they're just getting pH'd water with calmag and a bit of flora micro for now.

So it has been just over a week since the last update. I have some pictures of the reveg progress from last night - day 29 of reveg.

Now that new growth is taking off, I'm guessing that the remnants of the buds should be removed.

The plants are getting bushy! I figure that I'll take some clones in another 2 weeks, then start LST and/or supercropping to get things in shape for a scrog. Knowing the speed I work at, might need to start on the scrog frame soon.

Here's some pics - can really see the difference from just a week ago.

Time to clean the saucers and the bottom of the tent.

Well, crap. I'm going to have to pull the plug on this. Wife wants to visit her folks for a couple of weeks this summer. Since the plants won't survive that, might as well cut them down before I invest any more time in these.

Will pick this up again in about mid-August. Will go from seed on the next grow, probably a Hindu Kush and a CBD only strain. Will still do a scrog, and attempt rodelization and cloning. I'd like pollen from both those strains.
