I have actually been using fabric recycled grocery bags they are pretty well the same size as a 5 gallon when filled to the top, or 2/3 is like a 3 gallon. and they have handy handles if moving them. and they were 99 cents a piece verse almost 10 bucks for the pro edition ahahahha im pretty cheap
I buy them in five packs on Amazon for about $12 with free two day shipping. They are identical to the ones that cost three times as much. I'm just using the three gallon size but I'm growing in coco so the smaller size is fine.

Nice work finding a cheaper alternative to brand name fabric pots.

Almost more importantly, thanks for not starting your post with either of the words 'So' or 'OK'.

Trimming or removing fan leaves while cloning depends on your rooting method. I aeroponic my cuttings, they get plenty of oxygenated moisture, root quickly, and leaf transpiration is a non issue. In dirt or rockwool , cuttings may benefit from trimming fan leaves.
I cannot recommend an aero cloner highly enough! Cut a branch off momma. Stick it in a collar. Two weeks later it's a thriving plant.
