About how long should it take for an auto to show sex?

I don't really see how changing the available nutes to a higher ratio of something is gonna tell it to start blooming. The roots have almost completely filled the bucket though and that makes more sense to me.
Here what she looks like.

because even a slight K def will delay flowering sometimes and hydro seems to have a bit too much control in certian situations ..... just from my experiences anyways

Congrats man, you're a daddy) From those the calyxes will appear. The look green in the picture, but if they are actually white-transparent those are the pistils then. Anyways you're like 2-3 days from flowering.

You can switch to 12/12 anyways. If this is unstable auto it'll flower and if she's stable, but juat a late bloomer this wouldn't hurt at all.

I'm not gonna trash em, if I anything I'd set up the 1000w somewhere so she's got more room, but I'm trying to finish her in the bucket.
I switched the lights to 14/10 and upped the bloom nutrients from only 1ml a gallon to 3ml and dropped the grow down a 1/2ml to 2 1/2ml. Well see what happens I guess.

now tat you mention the 1000w, what light setup have you been using so far for veg? 1000w HPS?

Edit:
I see in the pics and LED and 2 white FL tubes. Was that L.E.D. in the red spectrum? if not, I'm thinking maybe you didn't have enough red, which helps trigger flowering.

I've got a 180w UFO above red/blue mix mainly red though, and 4 24w t5 ho's around the side, forgot what number exactly but I know there the blue spectrum bulbs. I have 4 red ones but I figured I'd keep 4 blue in there to help trichrome production.

I've got the 1000w in the closet for now, cause when I moved in to this house last year the neighbor told me he worked for the state boys and that the other neighbor was a snitch. He also said he smokes and would burn with me if I ever wanted to. I pulled a harvest under the light that year but you could smell it when pulling into the driveway:blsmoke: I didn't have any filters or anything and I'm sure they could smell it to! So I set it aside and rented the room out. But I don't like paying for something I love growing! So I figured I'd try something smaller. Came up with this barrel design while talking with a co worker and got to work building it. Gonna sell it to the guy after I prove it works great!

My autos are like 18 days from seed and are showing sex already I read that they usually take 3 to 4 weeks and my buddy said his didn't show till weeks 5-6 and mine are small yet I just hope they stretch some I use t5s
That is EXACTLY how how my auto is doing. She showed her pistils at day 19...almost to the hour. She looks good but is extremey short, but seems bushy. I mean I dont see me even getting a decent yield....but im not TOO bummed out because afterall, it is my very first grow ever and she is chugging along so i cant be too disappointed.

Man that is one pretty plant.. I'm thinking she is not a autoflower.. I have grown so many I can just tell.. I have also grown for Buddha seeds and this plant is just to big for a dwarf.. I wish you would try 2015 2016 auto genetics.. Buddha seeds is a great company but their genetics are old-school autoflower.. that means they have a lot of phenotypes unlike the modern autos of today.. put her on 12 x 12 bro..

Definitely not a Auto to bushy

I use t5 lights when in veg. Stage I keep them around 4 in. From the plant and there also autos and they get very bushy that's what happens when your able to put the light so close and about week 5 or 6 I switch to 1000 watt led lights for her to finish the t5 lights kept close to the plant helps tighten the new growth up so when you do use your lighting that you use for budding all your colas are about on the same level and your canopy is even for the light .
