? about Kessil H150 for a micro grow.

Hey guys, I'm in the process of getting a micro SOG grow going using only LED. Unfortunately I'm constrained to a PC case at the moment. Currently I have one 90W BS UFO in the case and seeing as my case is only about 8" wide it's either another UFO right next to it, or I was looking into a Kessil H150 magenta to add right next to it instead of an additional UFO.

Doing some reading around here I've found that Kessils need to be a certain length away from the plant tops. About 12-18" according to their site. My case is about 18" tall and I'm using the Dr.Bud SOG method in 16oz cups. I have roughly 12" of grow space to work with. My question is, do you guys think I would get any bleaching if I threw a Kessil in there? I'd like to stay away from another UFO if I could but I don't want to make a $200 mistake and fuck my plants up in the process. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance. :bigjoint::bigjoint:

No one? I emailed Kessil asking for some more information regarding their lights, I'll post up what they have to say for whomever is interested.

I know it's late but this came up for me so it will for someone else.

But I believe it's the exact opposite, the closer the LED is the more intense the light is. The chart indicates the light is more intense when closet to the LED.

if that's not enough they post a 3D image.. Imagine if your plant was literally in the red model. Clearly you want the tops closer to the light.

Photo can be found on the legit Kessil website.

Hope this helps someone.

Oh and to answer your original question lol.. I don't think you'll get any bleaching with the h150. But I personally have never used one but I plan on it..
