Hello! I'm about to buy 20 clu048-1212c4-353h5k2. I have a question though, I can get these from digikey for $22 a piece which is rough in comparison to cdi but cdi is out of stock. I also found the h6k2 (below bbl) versions on ebay for 11 each piece. From the spec sheets the h6k2 don't seem that different from the h5k2 version. Is there any reason to avoid the below bbl version at half the cost? also has anyone bought cobs from http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/export-estonia this vendor on ebay? thanks for all your help

Thats my only issue with digikey. I actually just saw that site a few minutes before you posted. no 90 cri 3500k but I could probably stick together 4 90cri 3000k with a 80cri 4000k and be about where I want. can't believe the umol/sec I've seen some people are getting with these. I'm concerned about having too many umol/sec and wasting light.:lol:

If you are in the US CDI prices are decent, they have some stock, but if you are willing to wait, they will custom order whatever you want I think... Id go with straight 3000k 90 cri if 3500 is unavailable.

Cdi unfortunately doesn't have any of the 90cri citizens from what I saw. hopefully the shipping time from cobkits.Com isn't bad, their prices aren't bad at all. hmm I might, I was afraid there might not be enough blue but I guess it's not that much less than the 3500k

Is that like a series 5.1 cob? Granted if I could get one it's the same cost as the h5k2 but that's an oddly small increase with 187 lumens and 8 lm/w for a new model of cob. Any suggestions on a driver to run 5 1212's @ 1050mA? was looking at the hlg 185h 1050 but now I'm seeing like this hlg 185h 48a and I'm not entirely sure how to choose between the two kinds
