adding organic "things"??

Besides the well known organic soil add in things like guano's n casting's what else is beneficial to the plants, in one of the latest high times i read fruit by products and nitrogen rich green vegetables would be good to add into your soil,but what is a fruit by product and what things are acceptable to put into your soil that benefit the plant???? my Velvet Bud seeds are comin..plz help??

Fruit byproduct, as an example, would be wine from grapes. I don't know what HT was talking about, I didn't read the article, but I would guess they mean adding fruit and veggies to something like a compost heap. Primalseeds - % composition of materials there is a site, with a list of compost material and their levels of phos. acid, nitrogen, and potash. Depending on how acidic or neutral you want your soil is what you put in. I'm new to growing marijuana so I don't really know off hand what the soil ph levels should be, might wanna look that up. But that is a really good site for compost materials and it has tons of stuff listed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, good luck :joint:

I buy a packet of alfalfa sprouts every week to put on my sandwiches at work and there is always at least half a pack left by the use by date.
Anyway I blend them into a watery soup and add some mollasses, fulvic acid, humic acid and leave it overnight with an airstone to airate the mix and my plants absolutaly love it.

...wow that really is a random list of items, and their n-p-k levels thats cool though they list things that i just might try to add cuz i eat that,
